A Festival Shop exclusive! This design by Kevin Beronilla from the University of Illinois at Chicago was selected by the Ravinia Women’s Board as the winner in its 2009 Ravinia Season Poster competition.
That summer, the festival celebrated the Abraham Lincoln bicentennial, examining America's 16th president from a variety of cultural and historical perspectives. Programming spanned several genres, from classical, jazz and gospel to music theater and dance. The programs were presented under the rubric "Mystic Chords of Memory" -- the opening words of Lincoln's first inaugural address in 1861.
