A Festival Shop exclusive! The Ravinia Women’s Board selected this design by Stephanie Beischer as the winner in its 2020 Ravinia Season Poster competition.
Stephanie grew up in a small town in Southeastern Wisconsin and attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where she received a BFA in Illustration. Following that, she began her work in the design industry.
She relocated to the Chicago area in 1998 and shortly after discovered Ravinia – she has been attending events ever since. Things have gotten busier as time has gone by, but she tries to attend concerts at least twice a Summer. She wanted to convey in the design the feeling you have attending an event at Ravinia: "There is such a fun energy. A warm summer night under a clear sky with friends, candlelight and great music. It's such a special place." She considers herself lucky to live so close to this venue.
Stephanie currently works out of her studio in her home in the Northwest suburbs, which she shares with her husband, two daughters, two dogs and a leopard gecko.
