The design of this Kokeshi doll is based on Freddie’s most iconic outfit; the yellow military jacket which he wore during the sold-out European “Magic” tour in 1986.
This piece celebrates a modern icon as a Japanese-inspired Kokeshi doll. Traditionally, Japanese Kokeshi dolls were figures known as guardians of the home. It takes 43 careful processes of wood work and hand-painted design to create them, so slight imperfections may be present. These are not defects but features that make every piece unique.
Care Instructions: Clean with a soft dry cloth. The product should not be exposed to excessive humidity, heat or direct sunlight to prevent paint from cracking or peeling.
