Grace Jones and Janelle Monáe Concert Poster

An exclusive print from the Grace Jones and Janelle Monáe concert! Inspired by Jones' powerful, heavy and contagious pop art persona, as well as Ravinia's iconic Carousel, Emily Burlew developed this textural duo-toned screen print that embodies the night it celebrated.

Emily Burlew is a 28 year old freelance graphic designer and printmaker based in Chicago, Illinois. She has cultivated a following through working for local musicians, businesses, and other creative entities. She has worked for the likes of Wilco, Sharron Van Etten, The Fray, and has just began to expand into the national drag scene, designing a tee shirt for Raja Gemini and creating flyers through Deryck Todd Productions.

Most preciously, for over 2 years, Burlew has been designing monthly flyers for Smartbar's Queen! Through this, she had the opportunity to create the flyer for Ravinia's night with Grace Jones and Janelle Monáe.
